2. Our Products
We sell home and lifestyle products, including fireplaces, electric fires, stoves and associated products.
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, product colours and appearance may vary slightly due to photography, lighting and individual screen settings.
Where dimensions are important to the installation or suitability of a product, customers should check the dimensions and specifications provided before ordering.
Manufacturers may occasionally make minor changes to product specifications or appearance. Any materially different substitute product will not be supplied without your agreement.
3. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Displaying a product on our website does not guarantee that it will remain available.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Where we are unable to fulfil your order, we may offer an alternative product. You are under no obligation to accept an alternative.
If we cannot fulfil your order and no alternative is agreed, any payment made for the unavailable product will be refunded.
4. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products contained within your order.
You are responsible for ensuring that your order details, delivery address and contact information are correct before submitting your order.
After receiving your order, we will send you an acknowledgement by email.
An acknowledgement that we have received your order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A binding contract between you and us will be formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted.
If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you and refund any payment we have taken for the affected products.
5. Prices
All prices displayed on our website will clearly state whether applicable taxes are included.
The total price payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We take reasonable care to ensure that our prices are correct.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting an order, we may contact you to give you the option of purchasing the product at the correct price or cancelling the order.
We will not charge additional optional fees without your express consent.
6. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payment options may include debit or credit cards and third-party payment or finance providers.
Where a third-party payment or finance provider is used, additional terms imposed by that provider may apply.
Your order may be subject to payment authorisation and fraud-prevention checks.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the locations stated on our website.
Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and any applicable delivery charges will be shown during checkout or otherwise communicated before you place your order.
We will aim to deliver within the estimated timeframe provided.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed with you, we will deliver goods within the period required by applicable consumer law.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we have expressly agreed that a particular delivery date is essential.
Large and Heavy Items
Some Homespiration products, including fireplaces and stoves, may be large, heavy or require specialist or pallet delivery.
Customers are responsible for checking that the product will fit through doorways, hallways, stairways and other access points at the delivery address.
Where applicable, customers should ensure that suitable access is available for the delivery vehicle.
Any known access restrictions or special delivery requirements should be communicated to us before delivery.
Further information can be found in our Delivery Policy.
8. Inspecting Your Delivery
We recommend inspecting your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If your product appears to have been damaged during delivery, please contact us as soon as possible at:
Where reasonably possible, please provide photographs of the product and its packaging. This can help us investigate the issue with the manufacturer, supplier or courier.
Failure to immediately report visible damage does not remove any statutory rights you may have in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
9. Your Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you will generally have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.
You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision within the applicable cancellation period.
Please contact:
Please provide your name, order number and details of the product you wish to return.
Further information can be found in our Returns & Refund Policy.
10. Change-of-Mind Returns
Where you cancel because you have changed your mind, you must return the goods in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy.
Unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable law requires us to cover the cost, you will be responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods.
This is particularly important for fireplaces, stoves and other large or heavy products, where specialist or pallet transport may be required and return costs can be significantly higher than standard parcel delivery.
Any applicable information regarding return costs for products that cannot normally be returned by post will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy for full details before placing an order.
11. Refunds Following Cancellation
Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will issue the refund required by applicable law.
Where applicable, this includes the price paid for the goods and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us.
If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as express or enhanced delivery, we are not required to refund the additional amount above our standard delivery charge where permitted by law.
We may make a deduction from your refund for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, where permitted by law.
Further information can be found in our Returns & Refund Policy.
12. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are separate from your right to change your mind.
Goods supplied by Homespiration must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law, including being:
-
of satisfactory quality;
-
fit for purpose; and
-
as described.
If you receive an incorrect, faulty, damaged or misdescribed product, please contact us at:
Where we are legally responsible for the issue, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Where we are legally responsible for the return, we will cover reasonable return costs.
13. Installation
Certain products sold by Homespiration may require professional or specialist installation.
You are responsible for ensuring products are installed safely and in accordance with:
-
the manufacturer's instructions;
-
applicable building regulations;
-
applicable electrical or gas safety requirements; and
-
any other relevant legal or safety requirements.
Where installation by a qualified or competent professional is legally required, an appropriately qualified person must be used.
Unless installation is expressly included as part of your order with Homespiration, the purchase of a product does not include installation.
Homespiration is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent installers or contractors appointed directly by the customer.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights relating to faulty or defective products or any liability which cannot legally be excluded.
14. Manufacturer Warranties
Certain products may include a manufacturer's guarantee or warranty.
The length and conditions of warranties may vary between manufacturers and products.
Where applicable, warranty information will be displayed on the relevant product page or provided with the product.
A manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not replace those rights.
15. Product Compatibility and Suitability
Before ordering, customers should check that a product is suitable for its intended location and requirements.
Depending on the product, this may include checking:
-
product dimensions;
-
required clearances;
-
electrical requirements;
-
ventilation requirements;
-
flue or chimney requirements;
-
installation requirements; and
-
compatibility with the intended location.
If you are unsure whether a product is suitable, please contact us at support@homespiration.co.uk or seek advice from an appropriately qualified installer before purchasing or installing the product.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where a product is faulty, incorrectly described or not fit for a particular purpose that you made known to us and reasonably relied upon us to assess.
16. Ownership and Responsibility for Goods
Ownership of goods will pass to you once we have received payment in full.
Responsibility for the goods will normally pass to you when the goods are delivered into your physical possession or to a person identified by you to receive them, subject to applicable consumer law.
17. Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
This includes liability that cannot legally be excluded for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights concerning faulty, defective or misdescribed goods.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, our products are supplied for private and domestic use unless otherwise stated.
If you intend to use products for commercial, business or resale purposes, please contact us before purchasing, as different terms may apply.
18. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
These may include severe weather, transport disruption, industrial action, supplier disruption, natural disasters or other circumstances that we could not reasonably prevent.
If such an event significantly affects our ability to fulfil your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Your statutory rights regarding delayed or undelivered goods remain unaffected.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website or applicable law.
